What Is Platincoin?
The Platincoin platform promotes minting as the shortcut to making cryptocurrencies a more viable source of income for various types of users. Here, “various” does not refer only to their ambitions and plans regarding cryptos, but also their technical knowledge required to make cryptos work for them. On October 21–22, the most massive offline event in the blockchain industry, Blockchain Life 2020, was hosted in Moscow. This is the fifth run of the Blockchain Life forum, which is rightfully considered to be one of the most massive cryptocurrency events in the world.
This time, the forum brought together 4000 participants, including both industry professionals and newcomers. Forum participants discussed the most trending topics in the industry: raising investments for blockchain projects, legal aspects of DeFi, new crypto trading strategies, and more. Each year, Blockchain Life invites both powerful industry trendsetters with many years of experience and young, promising projects, to join their forum. What Is Platincoin Attempting to Achieve?
Platincoin aims to achieve a broad range of goals which boil down to the popularization of its minting model in the face of the competing options such as mining:

The token to achieve this is Platincoin’s PLC token, which runs on out-of-the-box approach to the implementation of the Proof-of-Stake model. Its minting does not require users to build large-scale capacities such as those required for mining. Also, the PLC minting does not necessitate providing a constant stream of tech upgrades, such as those miners are required to secure to keep in line with the demands of mining.
- Platincoin minting is promoted as a less expensive option to make income from cryptos, combined with the promise of being less labor-intensive as well as more environmentally friendly. On October 14, our PLATINCOIN leaders attended a meeting in Dubai. This spontaneous meeting, originally planned as a small event, transformed into a massive celebration of like-minded people. Inspiring stories from our top leaders, a long-awaited presentation for our main project of the year, lively conversations with like-minded people, and as always, a powerful surge of motivation — these are all the things that guests will remember about our previous event in Dubai.
This year, due to COVID and closed borders, we were forced to cancel dozens of events, while many leaders were unable to visit our events due to existing limitations. Due to limitations on public meetings in Dubai, we planned to organize a small event on a yacht, but in the end we welcomed several hundred guests from different countries in the world — from India, Bangladesh, Africa, and Latin America, to Europe and countries in the CIS!
